石海强，博士，教授，博士生导师。1976年03月出生。2006年06月毕业于华南理工大学资源科学与造纸工程学院，获工学博士学位。2009年～2011年加拿大新布朗斯维克大学利莫瑞克制浆造纸研究中心博士后，2011年入选辽宁省高校杰出青年学者成长支持计划，2013年入选辽宁省“百千万人才工程”千人层次， 2015年晋升为教授，2019年～2020年美国威斯康星大学麦迪逊分校生物系统工程系访问学者，2019年入选辽宁省“百千万人才工程”百人层次，2020年入选辽宁省高校创新人才计划，2022年入选“兴辽英才计划”科技创新领军人才（辽宁省特聘教授）。中国造纸学会会员，中国造纸学会纤维素专业委员会委员，中国造纸学报、中国造纸、造纸科学与技术等期刊编委，辽宁省轻工类专业教学指导委员会委员（秘书长），现任轻工与化学工程学院副院长。

5.指导学生情况：毕业硕士研究生25人（留学生1人），在读硕士研究生11人（留学生2人）、毕业博士研究生1人，在读博士研究生2人（留学生1人）。  

6.承担科研项目情况：主持国家自然科学基金青年/面上课题4项，辽宁省创新人才支持计划、省杰出青年学者成长支持计划、省自然科学基金、省百千万人才支持项目（A类）、制浆造纸国家重点实验室基金、造纸科学与技术教育部重点实验室基金等省部级课题10余项，企业合作课题2项，参与承担国家重点研发计划任务1项、国家自然科学基金项目3项，申请国家发明专利9件，已授权4件。
